AOA Birthday Party 2

birthday cupcakes

These guys made an appearance at last year's party -- they were quite popular.

It's All Over Albany's second birthday! And we're of the mind to party.

So join us at the Midtown Tap and Tea Room on February 25 from 5:30 to 8:30 for some tasty free snacks, a bunch of fun people and... cupcakes!

Because space is limited, we do ask that you RSVP (that part is important -- almost as important as the cupcakes).

See you there!

Yea! I can't wait!

What is that in Albany years?

Regardless, I'm looking forward to helping you celebrate the occasion. The cupcakes are merely a bonus. But I hope that bonus will include red velvet with cream cheese frosting.

@Daniel: Very fussy about your bonuses... ; )

i read AOA multiple times a day. everyday. and i love cupcakes more than i love anything. but as a ualbany graduate student--it is my duty that day to participate in the accepted graduate student interviews and related events that will last until at least 9 PM. what a shame!

Disappointed that I can't be there. Enjoy the celebration. You've earned it!

Are those the real cupcakes, or a pretty piece of clipart? Because they look amazing and I want one.

I can't wait! Will there be tiny strippers jumping out of the cupcakes? 'Cause nothing says 'party' like a stripper jumping out of a cake, no matter what size.

@kert: Completely real from last year.

@Siobhan: Well... you're just going to have to wait to find out.

Wow, already sold out! I feel so lucky for getting to go!

@greg -- homemade or store-bought?? my mouth is watering!

Alas, I can not go! Bah. If you're ever looking for a physical manifestation of AOA's age, my son was also born in February '08. Right now AOA is at a point where it knows all it's letters, numbers, shapes and colors! It also loves building towers out of giant lego blocks and is adamant about doing things for itself. 2 is such a fun age. I'm sure AOA's parents agree.

Say Something!

We'd really like you to take part in the conversation here at All Over Albany. But we do have a few rules here. Don't worry, they're easy. The first: be kind. The second: treat everyone else with the same respect you'd like to see in return. Cool? Great, post away. Comments are moderated so it might take a little while for your comment to show up. Thanks for being patient.

[C]ommon sense tells me (yes, I know one is on dangerous ground when invoking common sense) there's room for consensus here. Or at least compromise. Although something tells me the city won't back off its regulation against live chickens performing in those stand-up comedy showcases. I guess the city has this thing about chickens.
