Phantogram "amplified"

Phantogram was recently featured on ABC's "Amplified," a series in which Dan Harris awkwardly interviews indie artists. Harris is apparently a big fan -- he says "Mouthful of Diamonds" was his favorite song of last year:

The interview also includes Josh and Sarah talking about playing in Saratoga (people "want to hear songs they know") and the glamour of life on the road (sleeping in the car and tuna fish sandwiches).

Phantogram will be touring the West and Midwest in March. And they're playing at the Sasquatch Festival in Washington State in May.

That's funny since Brian Williams at NBC does the same thing, and it's equally awkward.

But at least Dan picked a great Local 518 band! And a great song! Now, we need to get him hooked on "Turn It Off" from Phantogram. Then we need to let him know how many other AMAZING bands there are up here.

Love this awesome exposure for Phantogram.

Happy 2nd Birthday to AOA.com!!! You guys rock, and keep me in the know! I need you! We all do!

[C]ommon sense tells me (yes, I know one is on dangerous ground when invoking common sense) there's room for consensus here. Or at least compromise. Although something tells me the city won't back off its regulation against live chickens performing in those stand-up comedy showcases. I guess the city has this thing about chickens.
