Don't leave it in your car

Albany police say there has been a string of car break-ins recently in the area just uptown of Washington Park (map).

In Troy quite a bit, too, as well as Green Island. Mine was broken into on Hoosick in broad daylight right at the Oakwood intersection. How did no one see that?! But, a friend in that neighborhood and the police officer both said there has been a very significant uptick in robberies like that.

[C]ommon sense tells me (yes, I know one is on dangerous ground when invoking common sense) there's room for consensus here. Or at least compromise.
